Karolina in action in a UCI 1.1 race in Spain in 2024

Today’s article aims to bring the example/testimony of an athlete ( Polish professional cyclist) Karolina Perekitko, with whom I started working seriously 2 years ago, after racing in the same team in Belgium in the 2019 season.
Karolina has embarked together with me on a complete path, of work on self, personal and sports, because as I have always tried to convey you can be a good or great athlete only if you get to be a serene and aware person.
I hold Karolina in high esteem, because in a difficult moment she had the courage, the will and the dedication to put herself on the line, work on herself, lay bare, even in her weaknesses to turn them into strengths; and because of this and because she always believed and never gave up, in 2024 she signed her first professional contract and now she is achieving great results at the international level, with a serenity and awareness that never belonged to her before, this is just the beginning of a great rebirth…!!!!

Spain where I met Karolina during her and our Training Camp period this year .

Here her own words:

“I have known Gaia since 2019, when we ran in the same team, at this time, she started mental coaching. I went through difficult times during my life, but I was not yet ready to work on my mental attitude. We started working together only at the end of the year 2019, when I finally felt ready to start.
Our work did not start completely focusing on cycling, but we focused on fundamental aspects of everyday life in order to be better person and consequently stronger athlete. We solved many problems, for example: why could I never be happy and satisfied , why was I not grateful for what I had , why did I always want more and why did this cause me many problems in everyday life ? In two and a half years of work we have really solved things…
I am very grateful and proud to have worked with Gaia. I know I am a better person and a better athlete now, but many things still need to be achieved to get even better, many challenges are in front of me and I am ready to face them.”

“There is no competition in the Art of War. A true warrior is invincible because he competes against nothing. Winning means defeating the conflicting mind that stays in us.”
